When studying stories within the New Testament, one can always find a certain newness and energy. These stories depict those who were witnesses of the living Christ or who learned about the Christ through eyewitness accounts. The images from the New Testament, of those who would eventually follow Christ and those who would turn away, bear striking similarities to the images and stories in our own backyards today.
